Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) Microspheres

A spherical polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA, acrylic) microparticle with density 1.19 g/cm3 is attached by a polymer adhesive to the free end of a tipless AFM cantilever.

PMMA microspheres with diameters A = 1.5 µm, B = 3.36 µm, C = 6.44 µm, D = 9.57 µm and E = 14.59 µm are available.
